"25 Years of Loyalty Met with Corporate Bullying and Deceptive Tactics After 25 years of loyal business—holding both our homeowners insurance and a three-vehicle auto policy with them—State Farm treated us like a liability they couldn't wait to dump. They threatened to drop our homeowners policy unless we completely replaced our roof and repaired our siding within an impossible 3-month window. Here is the catch: we had **multiple** independent, licensed contractors inspect our roof, and every single one of them stated explicitly that the roof is perfectly fine and has at least 5 good years of life left. State Farm didn't care. They ignored the experts and pushed their arbitrary agenda anyway. We did our part and hired a contractor to handle the siding repairs. Because contractors have schedules, we needed a brief, reasonable extension on State Farm’s aggressive deadline. When we called to ask for it, we were met with a rigid, bureaucratic, "We don’t do extensions." Instead of working with a quarter-century customer, they dropped our homeowners policy without a second thought. State Farm will happily take your premiums for decades, but the moment they decide to clear you off their books, they will use bullying tactics, impossible deadlines, and zero flexibility to push you out the door. Twenty-five years of loyalty meant absolutely nothing to them. If you think your long-term history with State Farm protects you, think again. Look elsewhere for a company that actually values its customers and operates in reality."
